This summer has been filled with a few severe heat waves here in New Jersey. With heat indexes exceeding 100 degrees, we wanted to provide some ways to help our residents, or visitors to beat the heat!
Summertime is meant to be spent enjoying the great outdoors. A great way to enjoy the summer's heat is to check if your town has a community pool. Towns like Maplewood & South Orange both have pools for their residents. If your town offers a pool or you can get a visitors pass, then check out a local pool near you! Cool water, food & fun are always on the menu.

When was the last time you went to a water park? If you're my age, then you remember trips to Dorney Park in the summer. If you want to spend a day getting wet and wild, then CLICK HERE to check out Dorney Park!
For those of us who can't make it to Pennsylvania, consider going to the American Dream Mall for their smaller (but still fun) water park. I went in January, and my family and I had a blast. CLICK HERE for more info.

Did you know that there are 62 beaches in the state of NJ? If you want to find the best beach for your next outing, CLICK HERE to view all of them! Beaches and boardwalks will always be an excellent way to beat the heat this summer!

Overall, there are many ways to beat the heat if you live or plan to visit NJ. Take some time to explore the state and see that we have tons of fun ways to enjoy summer while you are here!
